NACOS Collaboration

The Nigeria Association of Computing Students (NACOS) has forged a strong and impactful collaboration with the Ndukwe Kalu Foundation (NKF) to advance cybersecurity awareness, digital inclusion, and gender empowerment among young Nigerians.

As a key partner and sponsor, NKF supported NACOS’s flagship Cybersmart Women Summit 2025 held in Abuja from September 25–27, 2025. NKF Executive Secretary Erica Okibe delivered a powerful goodwill message, commending NACOS for its visionary leadership in championing cybersecurity for young women and girls. The summit featured hands-on workshops, expert panels, and interactive sessions on cybersecurity fundamentals, digital safety, IoT, AI, and tech careers fully aligned with NKF’s mandate.

Beyond the event, NKF continues to leverage NACOS platforms to invite computing students nationwide to apply for research and project grants focused on DNS innovations, security tools, and emerging technologies.

Together, NACOS and NKF are building a gender-balanced cybersecurity ecosystem through training, mentorship, hackathons, and youth-focused initiatives that prepare the next generation for success in Nigeria’s digital economy.

We are open to strategic collaborations among all stakeholders for a better and safer Internet programs, IT capacity building training initiative and active research in the DNS industry.
