Our Mission

To promote the goal of NiRA by protecting the Nigerian child and developing the capacity of its youth to succeed in today’s digital economy.

Our Objectives​

Promote Child Online Protection (COP) through the National Child Online Protection Policy Strategy Document in Nigerian Internet space.

Advanced ICT training and skills acquisition amongst young Nigerians and encourage industrious use of knowledge gained in the internet and DNS industry.

Encourage research and development in the Domain Name System (DNS) industry and promote ardent academic researchers in Nigerian institutions.

Mrs Mary N. Uduma

Mrs. Mary N. Uduma is a distinguished expert in Internet Governance, ICT, and Telecommunications regulation. She coordinated the West Africa Internet Governance Forum (WAIGF) and led the Nigeria Internet Governance Forum (NIGF) from 2012 to 2019. She has held key roles in the UN IGF’s National Regional Initiatives (NRI) Network, including Chair of the Multistakeholder Advisory Group of the Africa Internet Governance Forum (AfIGF-MAG) and member of the UN IGF MAG.
