Mr. Olaniyi Yusuf

Olaniyi Yusuf assumed the role of Managing Partner of Verraki Partners on April 1, 2019, and he is also the Lead for the Social Sector practice. Prior to this new role, he was the Country Managing Director of Accenture Nigeria from 2010 to 2019. He joined the Management Consulting Division of Arthur Andersen in 1995 after 4 years at Joint Komputer Kompany, an indigenous computer company.

Niyi graduated from Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria with a Bachelor of Science Degree (Combined Honours) in Computer Science and Economics in 1990, and also has a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from the University of Wales.  He has technical certifications in Project Management, COBIT, IT Governance, Business Continuity, Solution Planning, Solution Delivery and IT Service Management.

Niyi is a skilled transformation change manager with over 29years experience advising C-level executives in government and private organizations as they navigate strategic change and new IT initiatives. He has been involved in the creation of key infrastructure of the Nigerian banking industry including the establishment of Interswitch – the leading payments processor and transaction switching platform, independent ATM deployer, the CRC credit bureau, Unique Tax ID Number and ongoing Banking Industry IT Shared Services including the Cash-less Lagos initiative, network consolidation and Tier 3 Data Centre outsourcing.

A public speaker and thinker, he has presented at multiple conferences and industry seminars across industries focused on Technology Enablement for Business, IT Governance, Strategic IT Effectiveness, Organisation Effectiveness, Innovation and Leadership. He specializes in Programme/Project Management, Systems Integration, Digital Transformation, Enterprise Architecture, Corporate Transformation, Leadership Development, Process Reengineering, Design Thinking and Change Management.

Niyi is a Member of the Governing Council of Corona Schools Trust Council, Chairman of the Board of Corona Secondary Schools, and a Member of the Board of Trustees of Fountain University Osogbo. He is also the Vice-Chairman of the Nigerian Economic Summit Group, He is the President of NASFAT Society with over 360 locations in Nigeria, and he was the pioneer Chairman of NAZAS – the NASFAT Agency for Zakat and Sadaqat. He is a Facilitator at FATE Foundation and a member of FATE Foundation’s Governance Committee after being a member of its MSME Policy and Advocacy Committee, a Facilitator of Employability Training for the Empowerment Committee of NASFAT Society, and Chairman of Junior Achievement of Nigeria. He is an Expert in Residence and facilitator at the Lagos Business School, amongst other Education, Empowerment and Entrepreneurship oriented Not-For-Profit where he performs his community service and lives his passion of helping others to be more successful.

Niyi is a Fellow of the African Leadership Initiative West Africa (ALIWA) and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
